Q: Why doesn't this intake include a heat shield or airbox?
A: This intake utilizes an Open-Element Design. While heat shields block some engine bay heat, they also physically restrict the total volume of air the filter can pull from its surroundings. Our open design prioritizes absolute maximum air volume and delivers a much louder, more aggressive turbo whistle than enclosed systems.

Q: Will this throw a Check Engine Light (CEL)?
A: No. The intake tube is precisely engineered to maintain the correct airflow dynamics over your Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, preventing air-fuel ratio deviations and keeping your dashboard code-free.

Q: Do I need to buy replacement filters?
A: No! The included cotton filter is 100% washable and reusable. During your regular maintenance intervals, simply use a standard cotton filter cleaning kit to wash and re-oil the filter, and it is ready to go again.

Q: Do I need a custom ECU tune to use this?
A: No custom tune is required. This intake bolts right on and works perfectly with your factory engine calibration. However, custom tuning will maximize the performance gains.

Q: Is this product street-legal in California?
